discosoir #6 - Back to the old school

Je ne sais pas si c'est la cace-dédi Public Enemy que m'a faite ce bon Vincent Brunner aujourd'hui sur son blog, dans sa madeleine du lundi, mais ça m'a juste donné envie de réecouter de vieux morceaux old school qui font du bien.

Mais là, tu wois, on est chez la Madeleine à Proust West Coast, ok... Battle. C'est comme ça dans le real hip hop. Alors Yo yo yo cace-dédi à MC Bruno, emma1212 prend le micro...

Je me retrouve 12 ans en arrière au volant de ma Corsa Calypso - au toit ouvrant - sur le périph lyonnais en direction de la fac. Gros spliffou dans la che-bou, sunglasses, yeah yeah bébé.

Comme sur l'une de mes cassettes-voiture préférée au monde, dans l'ordre, Warren G (hey ho, c'est le frangin À Snoop, d'abord) sur Tupac (Rip) et Dre (Peace). Yo.

I dunno if i posted those two tunes because Vince made me a dedicace on his blog (every monday, he puts his own Proust's Madeleine) but I felt like i wanted to listen to some of my top tunes ever too. scroutch pfffuuiiittt scratch... Rewind... Here i am, 12 years backward on my old car with open roof, doing to the uni, big spliff on the mouth and easy attitude sunshine. They were exactly in this order in one of my favorite homemade "car tape" : Warren G then Tupac & Dre. yo yo yo. To the H.I.P and to the H.O.P !
